عنوان انگلیسی The Effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment-Based Therapy on Quality of Life and Psychosocial Flexibility of Female Junior High School Students with Special learning Disorders in Sari
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله improving the quality of life and enhancing psychosocial flexibility in students with learning disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment-based therapy on quality of life and psychological flexibility of female junior high school students with learning disorder in Sari. Method and Materials: The present study was a semi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest design and a control group. The statistical population consisted of all female junior high school students in Sari that 60 individuals were selected through convenient sampling method and were randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups. The intervention was performed for the experimental group. The data was collected by SF36 quality of life questionnaire and Denis and Vander Wal cognitive flexibility and was analyzed by SPSS-21 software and covariance analysis. Findings: The level of total score of depression was respectively 20.53 and 20.47 in the pre-test of the control and experimental groups. In the post-test of the control group this score was changed to 21.07 and in the posttest of experimental group it changed to 12.27. In the Follow-up phase the total depression in the experimental group was 12.13 and in the control group was 20.87. The study of social adjustment variable showed that in the experimental group after treatment in comparison to before treatment, there was an increase in the pre-treatment score in a way that in the post-test phase of the experimental group it changed from 12.13 to 19.49 and in the follow-up phase it changed 19.67. While the changes in the control group showed that in the pre-test phase, the mean was 14.40 and in the post-test phase 12.27 and the follow-up phase it was 12.60. Conclusion: The research showed that acceptance and commitment-based therapy improved the quality of life and increased psychological flexibility in female junior high school students with learning disorder.
