بررسی روش‌های ارزیابی پوسچر در دندانپزشکان و دانشجویان دندانپزشکی: یک مطالعه مروری نظام‌مند |

زمینه و هدف: پوسچر نامناسب یکی از اصلی ترین علل ایجاد اختلالات اسکلتی عضلانی(MSD) در حرفه دندانپزشکی است که به دلیل ماهیت فعالیت‌های این شغل بوجود می‌آید. این مطالعه، روش‌های ارزیابی پوسچر مشاهده‌ای و دستگاهی برای شاغلین حرفه دندانپزشکی در مطالعات و شیوع گزارش شده MSDs در آنها را بررسی کرده است.
روش کار: جستجوی مطالعات در پایگاه‌های اطلاعاتی Scopus، PubMed،Google scholar، Magiran و SID با کلمات کلیدی تعیین شده، در بازه سـال 2000 تـا سـال 2021 انجام گرفت. از 541 مقاله در جستجوی اولیه پس از حذف مقالات فاقد صلاحیت، تکراری، ارائه در کنگره، مروری نظام مند و نامه به سردبیر، در نهایت 31 مقاله در این مطالعه وارد شدند.
یافته‌ها: نواحی گردن (58%)، پشتی و کمر (54.9%) و شانه و دست (29%) دارای بیشترین میزان درد و اختلال گزارش شده در بین اندام ها در مطالعات بودند. در میان روش‌های ارزیابی پوسچر نیز RULA(19.4%)،REBA (19.4%)، EMG(13.8%) و QEC (8.3%) بیشترین روش‌های مورد استفاده در میان تمام 17روش بکار رفته در مطالعات بودند.
نتیجه‌گیری: در بین روش‌های مشاهده ای، روش QEC (Quick Exposure Check) به دلیل توجه به تجربه دندانپزشکان و در نظر گرفتن ابعاد مختلف وظایف دندانپزشکی کاربردی ترین روش است و روش (Electromyography) EMG نیز مناسبترین روش دستگاهی برای ارزیابی پوسچر در دندانپزشکان است. همچنین بنظر میرسد استفاده از پرسشنامه به همراه روش‌های ارزیابی می‌تواند درک و اثربخشی ارزیابی وضعیت پوسچر را افزایش دهد. |

Posture Assessment Methods in Dentists and Dental Students: A Systematic Review |

Background and objectives: Awkward posture is a primary cause of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in the dental profession. These disorders often cause because of the nature of dental activities. This study examines both observational and device-assisted posture assessment methods used in studies of dental professionals, as well as the reported prevalence of MSDs among them.
Method: A search for studies was conducted in Scopus, PubMed, Google Scholar, Magiran, and SID databases using specified keywords. The time frame for the search was from 2000 to 2021. Out of the 541 articles found in the initial search, 31 were finally included in this study after extracting ineligible articles, duplicates, conference presentations, systematic reviews, and letters to the editor.
Result: The neck (58%), back and waist (54.9%), and shoulder and hand (29%) regions had the highest reported pain and disorder among the studied. The posture evaluation methods, RULA (19.4%), REBA (19.4%), EMG (13.8%), and QEC (8.3%), were the most frequently used methods out of all 17 methods employed in the studies.
Conclusion: Among the observational methods, the Quick Exposure Check (QEC) method is the most practical due to its consideration of dentists’ experiences and the various dimensions of dental tasks. The Electromyography (EMG) method is the most suitable device-assisted method for assessing posture in dentists. The use of questionnaires in conjunction with evaluation methods appears to enhance the understanding and effectiveness of posture assessment. |
