بررسی برونداد پژوهشی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی همدان براساس شاخص هرش (h-index) و پارامتر m: یک مطالعه علم سنجی |

مقدمه: استفاده از شاخص هرش و پارامترm یکی از مهم‌ترین روش های ارزیابی تولیدات علمی پژوهشگران و مراکز پژوهشی است و سنجش همزمان کمیت وکیفیت مستندات علمی ازمزیت این شاخص‌ها محسوب می‌شود. به‌همین منظور این مطالعه با هدف تعیین تولیدات پژوهشی اعضای هیات علمی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی همدان براساس شاخص هرش و پارامترm نمایه شده در پایگاه استنادی گوگل اسکالر تا پایان سال 2016 میلادی انجام گرفت. روش‌کار: در این مطالعه علم سنجی- توصیفی، کلیه اعضای هیات علمی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی همدان (425 نفر) به صورت سرشماری وارد مطالعه شدند. با مشاهده مستقیم پایگاه استنادی گوگل اسکالر و درج آدرس سازمانی دانشگاه شاخص هرش‌و سن پژوهشی افراد استخراج و پس از ثبت در سیاهه وارسی، پارامترm آنان محاسبه گردید. درانجام عملیات نهایی و برای موشکافی و تحلیل داده‌ها از نرم افزار 16 SPSS و از شاخص‌های عددی آمار توصیفی و جداول و نمودارها استفاده شد. یافته‌ها: از کل اعضا، 209 نفر (2/49درصد) دارای شاخص هرش هستند. میانگین (انحراف معیار) کل شاخص هرش دانشگاه71/2(85/3) و میانگین (انحراف معیار) کل پارامترm 36/0(44/0) بدست آمد. بیشترین شاخص هرش 17 است که سه نفر از اعضا گروه های بیوشیمی، اپیدمیولوژی و آمار زیستی و بهداشت عمومی آنرا کسب نمودند و بالاترین پارامترm 16/2 است که به عضو هیات علمی گروه روان‌پزشکی تعلق گرفت. میانگین شاخص هرش و پارامترm در مردان 31/3 و 42/0 و در زنان 76/1 و 25/0، برای علوم پایه 97/4 و 57/0 و برای علوم بالینی 72/1 و 26/0 بدست آمد. مدرک دکتری تخصصی و مرتبه استادی به ترتیب با شاخص هرش 01/5 و 3/9 و پارامترm 58/0 و 89/0 بیشترین میانگین را دارند. از منظر قیاس بین دو شاخص مورد مطالعه رتبه و جایگاه هر چهار متغیر یاد شده تفاوتی پیدا نکرد. گروه ایمونولوژی در کل دانشگاه با میانگین شاخص هرش 25/9 و گروه اپیدمیولوژی و آمار زیستی با میانگین پارامترm 14/1 برترین رتبه را بخود اختصاص دادند. دانشکده بهداشت با میانگین شاخص هرش 02/7 و میانگین پارامترm 87/0 بالاترین رتبه را از هر دو منظر بین دانشکده‌ها احراز نمود. در قیاس بین دو شاخص علم‌سنجی، جایگاه و رتبه سایر دانشکده‌ها و گروه‌های آموزشی متفاوت از هم شدند. نتیجه‌گیری: میانگین شاخص هرش و پارامترm تولیدات پژوهشی اعضای هیات علمی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی همدان در بین دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی کشور متوسط به بالا و به نسبت خوب ارزیابی می‌شود، لیکن از شاخص‌های تعیین شده بین المللی دراین خصوص چه از نظر کمی و یا کیفی پایین‌تر است. توصیه می‌شود در کنار سایر شاخص‌های علم‌سنجی، از پارامترm نیز به عنوان معیار ارزشیابی علمی پژوهشگران دانشگاهی استفاده شود. |

Evaluation of Research Outputs at the Hamadan University of Medical Sciences Based on the Hirsch Index and m Parameter: A Scientometric Study |

Introduction: One of the most important evaluation methods for scientific outputs of researchers and research centers is to use the Hirsch index (h-index) and m parameter. The main advantages of these indicators are simultaneous evaluation of the quantitative and qualitative of scientific production. The aim of this study was to determine the research outcomes of the faculty members of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences based on the Hirsch index and m parameter indexed in Google Scholar until end of 2016. Methods: In this scientometric and descriptive study all of the faculty members of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences (425 people) were included in the census method. With a direct view Google Scholar database and insertions of affiliation for university the Hirsch index and scientific age of people were extracted and then documented the checklist, as a result those m parameter were calculated. In the final operations and in order to data analysis software, so data analysis was carried out by software SPSS16, as well as a number of indicators and charts and graphs, descriptive statistics were used. Results: Of the total, 209 people (49.2%) have the Hirsch index. The overall mean (SD) of the Hirsch index 2.71(3.85) and m parameter 0.36 (0.44) were obtained, respectively. The maximum Hirsch index has been 17 that three members of the biochemistry, biostatistics and epidemiology and public health they earn them, respectively, and the highest m parameter was 2.16 that was awarded to the academic member of Psychiatry department. The mean of the Hirsch index and m parameter were 3.31 and 0.42 in men and 1.76 and 0.25 in women respectively, as well as for the basic sciences courses 4.97 and 0.57 and also for clinical sciences 1.72 and 0.26 were obtained. Ph.D. degree and professor grade, respectively with Hirsch index 5.01 and 9.3 and m parameter 0.58 and 0.89 were highest mean as well. In terms of scale between the two indexes studied, rank and position of all four variables did not differ. In general, department of immunology at the university, the mean of Hirsch index 9.25 and department of biostatistics and epidemiology the mean of m parameter 1.14 were top rank respectively. School of health the mean of the Hirsch index 7.02 and the mean of m parameter 0.87 has been the highest rating from two aspects among the universities obtained. In comparison between the two indices of scientometric, ranking and position of other faculties and educational departments were different from together. Conclusion: The average of the Hirsch index and m parameter of research products at the faculty members of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences, between the universities of medical sciences will be assessed average to high level and fairly good, but they are low level than international indices both qualitatively and quantitatively aspects. Hence, it is recommended that of the m parameter to be used accompanying with other scientometric indices as scientific evaluation criteria of academic researchers. |
